For the sixth year, the season will seem even brighter as ConAgra Foods® invites you to help us "Shine the Light on Hunger." We created this campaign to draw attention to the issue of hunger, which affects more than 96,000 children throughout Nebraska and 138,000 children in Iowa Source: Feeding America’s Map the Meal Gap. ConAgra Foods encourages our community to come together to fight hunger and its effects.
As the focal point of this campaign, ConAgra Foods invites the community to visit our holiday ice skating rink on the ConAgra Foods campus at the corner of 10th and Harney Streets. In addition, we encourage you to drop off nonperishable goods and household items at the ice skating rink as well as at other locations throughout the festival.
The ConAgra Foods Ice Skating Rink
When: December 14th to January 6th
Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 1 p.m.-10 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, 1 p.m. to midnight
Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Corner of 10th Street and Harney Street, Omaha
Admission: $5 (skate rental included)
All proceeds to benefit the Food Bank for the Heartland.

When: Thursday, Nov. 22nd - Thanksgiving
Hours: Pre-Show entertainment 5:35 p.m., lighting ceremony at 6 p.m.

Baker's supermarkets
When: Through the month of December
Hours: Baker's store hours
Where: Twelve area Baker's locations
Monetary donations will be collected with the purchase of a $1 “light bulb” to help Shine the Light on Hunger.
Food Donation Barrels will be at the major Holiday Lights festivities.
You can donate now! We encourage you to make a generous donation to the Food Bank for the Heartland. For every $1 you donate, three meals can be provided to hungry families in the region.
